Walmart has really entered the laptop market by selling a line of laptops that start under $500 dollars to capture the low end laptop market.
These laptops are perfect for school kids, college bound kids, personal use and small business use if not a lot of bells and whistles are required.
They are great for surfing the web, checking emails and for all around general use. Most run on Windows XP or a linux based system.
Walmart is a distributor for Acer Aspire laptops that targets this low end market and should sell extremely well the price conscience shoppers and parents.
